I just attended the Utah CFL (Concealed Firearms License) class at the Oregon Firearms Academy.  I was quite pleased with the class (just like I thought I would be).  It was mostly safety, liability, and legal issues that we covered. e.g. The AOJ system (Ability, Opportunity, and Jeopardy).  Dan was the instructor, and he did a great job of moving it along and keeping us entertained.  Short breaks got us done in a relatively quick time.  There was a notary in the class who notarized all of us for free.

In short, if you want to take a Utah CFL class I would, of course, recommend OFA.

Right on, now begins the wait.

I took my class with Roger Moore in Clackamas and got everything notarized at WAMU since they notarize for free for account holders. I sent my paperwork in end of Marchish and have yet to see anything yet.

My Utah Permit took 80 days door to door. And yes...OFA and the team are great. I have trained there 4 times and will be back more this summer and fall.

Sounds like you had a great time!  I really need to get my Utah CCW.

OFA is a great place.
