Can't wait. Come on Miller Baker!
Results from the state VCDL Survey Results in case anyone's still undecided Here |

Get organized for next time... We can get ARF-PAC started to drum up support for you. Quoted:
Wrote myself in for State Senate (19th district) and skipped the two unopposed races. No drama in my neighborhood. I started a FaceBook page for my campaign on Sunday. I was hoping to get at least 20 votes and draw some sort of reaction from the two professional politicians on the ballot, but it doesn't look like I will be able to do either.

The current message on the VA SBE site misspelled "coming" as "comming." Should be fun to watch the Frederick / Puller race. Not my district but If he pulls it off, I'll be dancing in the streets. |

the early returns are looking positive so far. I am particularly watching Senate district 22.
This had VCDL member Tom Garrett running against Lynchburg's heel Burt Dodson. Pundits all said this would go for Dodson but Garrett has nice lead so far. I hope like hell Garrett wins and Reeves beats Houck. I so hated him being my old Senator. |

Wife and I both voted for Reeves. Houck's refusal to do any surveys or anything and his Caylee's law nonsense convinced my wife to vote for Reeves. We just moved here so we didn't know a whole lot about them. |

Mainly because the rag up in Fredericksburg was one the few who ran permit holder's names on a regular basis. He could choke on a bag of dicks for all I care. |

With a less than 1% lead, we might yet knock him off! |

Looking okay so far. Still a lot of herp and derp in the Commonwealth. The food tax passed in Louisa 51 to 49? Food prices are already painful and getting worse. What idiots voted for that? WIC users? Come on it is for the children!
That has been the spiel this week that the tax had to be passed to rebuild the schools in the county even though insurance and FEMA are covering the costs. It is all about the children. OH and don't forget the tax doesn't apply to any establishments in the towns of Louisa and Mineral. |
| Not so fast, Miller Baker looks like he's got a strong chance. Down only 1500 with only 52% reporting, and Barker's minions in Alexandria City have all reported. FFX County is surprisingly leaning his way, and PW county will probably go his way. I'm not losing faith quite yet. |

Reeves is down 124 with just one fredericksburg city precinct to go. Unless there is an ultra conservative area in the city, its not going to happen. The city and Albemarle county screwed us. Here comes another four years of anti gun senate leadership. Just saw that. Unless there's a conservative bastion neighborhood there, it's not looking good. |
|
Looks like the incumbant sheriff Hunt lost Franklin County.
This is the same Sheriff who hired his teenage daughter to run the supply and vehicle issuing, and who did so based on who she 'liked'. She was fucking one of them, whose wife found out about it and called him on it. He then drove his patrol car to meet her in Roanoke and shot her. |

I wonder how much of the redistricting helped Houck out... they all mess with the districts trying to keep their jobs. |

They would have a technical majority since the LT. Governor would cast the tie vote but would have to craft a power sharing agreement for committees. Not something we really want since last time the Chairman were of one party but the majority of the members on the committees were of the other party.
Not something we really want. |

I can't believe it. Looks like all are in and Reeves wins by 86! Now we wait for the recount and all the hidden votes 'found' by democrats. But with electronic machines we shouldn't have any of that. No ballots in trunks etc. Slight correction, I come up with a diff of 86 votes. But still! |

Puller is up by about 2,000 with 85% reporting. There have been about 23,000 total votes cast. |
