I just scored twenty NICE Okay 30 round mags for $150.00 Now I'll wind up spending as much per mag for Magpul Gen 3 followers and Magpul Ranger L Floorplates. |

I'm a firm beliver that you can never have too many mags, cases of ammo or spare parts/guns... Thefreshman had a deal on USGI type mags, I think he was at 11.00 or so ea... Agreed, Okay are pretty much considered the BEST of the GI Mags (if you purchase a Colt mag, you get one made by Okay)! They only get better with the Magpul modifications. |

Or you could just buy Pmags I have a few P mags, I just don't have the trust level that I do on the GI mags. Really? I would take a Pmag over any upgraded GI mag any day. I've had plenty of trouble with GI mags (including ones from okay) and never a single problem with Pmags. I also did the car test, ran over each and the GI mag busted on the first go. The Pmag was run over multiple times, had a burnout that sent it flying and was put under the tire and proceeded to be pulverized into the pavement moving the tire back and forth. After that it has been used numerous times without a single malfunction. GI mags my ass oh and you can find them for the same price as most GI mags

And on some guns with tight mag wells the PMags are difficult to insert and do not drop free.
