A while back I and a few others discussed Okc gun stores.  One member stated a store was on May Ave., or Penn.  This store was on the North side.  What I would like to know is the name and the location.

I'm in Telluride, Colorado and headin' back to Okc to visit my in-laws and a few out-laws and would like to visit this store.

Thanks,   Dave

There's nothing on Penn or May in the way of gun shops. Coolgunstuff.com is an internet-based FFL who has a computer software company as a store front and he is located at 10623 North May. He doesn't have a firearms display area.

There is no North on Penn and May.  They run N and S.  You are probably thinking about Mashburn Arms which was THE gun store in OKC for many years.

Try Outdoor America just S of the MacArthur and 23rd intersection.  Don't expect good service though.

Just Some Guy is right it is on NORTH May.  They keep all the guns in the back.

You should capatalize "WAS" the store.  You now need a chastidy belt to go into that place.  They do have a lot of hard to find items, just don't be too shocked to see $1700 semi M11-9's, $700 Glocks (they said they were hard to get due to the FBI contract), $9000 semi UZI's, a $16,000 semi-auto Styer Aug, $800 Seecamps, & a host of other great deals!

Outdoor America has some good deals, and a good selection, but some of the sales people are truly assholes, its hit or miss with that!

Mashburns no longer exists. They closed their doors on south eastern in Okc and changed their name and moved to Del City. I think they're called Gun World now. Everything in there is sky high. I don't know how they expect to stay in business.

Andy is a pretty good guy but his gun stock is limited to just a handful of firearms.  Normally what's on his website is what's there.    He will sell you accessories off his shelf though.  I've never seen him there on the weekend and he's the only person in the store who deals with gun stuff so if you don't go during the week you won't even get back to the gun room unless he's there.

H&H Gun Range actually has a decent selection of AR's even though they are expensive.

Does ANYONE carry a decent supply of AR accessories? I tried to find an A2 sight tool last weekend, and wanted to bash my head into a wall.

OA had A1 tools, no combos, and Brigadoon had some kind of piece of crap that they won't even sell to anyone, it's so bad. They give them away, and I wasn't even interested. :(

Just what would an A2 sight tool be? Do you have a manual?

The A1 had a sight that you could use a bullet or a pointed object to push in and the sight could be moved!     I'm not sure but I can almost tell you there is no tool to do this!

Go into the AR/15 forum ask Tweek or Lumpy and you will get the answers you need!

I know what you are talking about an S shaped piece of metal!!!

Bobby, there is a tool for the A1 and another tool for the A2.  I have an A1 tool from my 45th days when we still had A1's.  This is machined on one end for the rear sight and the other end for the front sight.  It fits over the post and you press down and turn.  It keeps the plunger from engaging the front sight so it is easier to turn it.  Lots faster.  The A2 tool is the same except it is for the A2 front sight.
