We flew into McGehee Catfish Farm and Restaurant in Marietta a few days ago.
It's a tough place to land. The runway is a tight grass/dirt strip with trees on each side and a 50' drop off into the river on the west side.
This guy and his wife flew in and it was his first solo after getting his pilots liscence.
The pics tell the story.

DOH!!!!  That is no good!  Was it his plane or was he renting it?

Saw your Wilson Pro on GT & OSA...where in OK are you located?  Tulsa by chance?

A friend of his loaned it to him
I don't have a WIlson Pro for sale. I think it is someone else that has on on OSA.

I think he needed a few more hours of experience before he tried that grass strip!  It pays to know one's limits, apparently he didn't....

The first thing they told me after I passed the flying portion of the flight test:  "Congratulations, you now have a license to learn."

Oops sorry about that!  Mixed up my people I guess.

I bet his friend was none to happy about THAT outcome!  I'm glad they weren't seriously hurt (assuming since you didn't mention them being injured).

I know a guy that hit a cow on that strip back in the early 90's with a twin engine Commander.
