I'm trying to rebuild my chess board that I brought back from Iraq and would love to use dummy rounds as the chess pieces. I'm using FMJ for white and HP for the blacks. If anyone could square me away with the following pieces, I'd highly appreciate it.
x2 - .338 Lapua (As the Queen) x4 - .300 win mag (bishops) x4 - .300 WSM (knight) x4 - .223 WSSM (rook) I'm using .45 long colt as pawns and had to cut and turn down the extractor heads of several .50bmg to use as bases and well epoxy the dummy rounds on top of them. Thank you guys in advance! Oh, I used .50 bmg as the king for those who are interested in doing the same. |

I have three four .223 WSSM brass cases and eight .223 WSSM nickel plated cases you can have. IM me your mailing addy. ETA - found another brass one. Quoted:

I wish I could help, but I don't have any of those calibers. That shouldn't stop you from turning this into a thread with pictures. I will and encourage you guys to do the same! I will have about 4 or 5 pieces left over of 45 L.C. to donate to anyone else interested. I really wish I had a lathe instead of using a dremel and mill
