So, I recently got my first offroad vehicle that i'd actually trust on trails (Had a 4x4 Jeep Cherokee, but it broke down constantly). I'm really wanting to go out on some 4x4 trails, but I'm not seeing much of that in Oklahoma. Looking at other states, there are 4x4 trails all over the place, but I can't find much of anything here, short of some heavy rock crawling stuff that i'm not interested in. Anything out there that requires 4 wheel drive, but isn't inching over boulders a few feet at a time?

Yeah, i've looked there. But the results there are pretty much all geared towards ATV's/Dirtbikes.

What part of ok are you in?

It seems the more northeast you go the more choices you have close.

Central, but i'll go pretty much anywhere. I like driving. Doing Colorado next month just for the mountain trails.

I'm in okc area. There's really not much out here. Big red offroad park is around in the area somewhere but I've never been.

Towards the northeast there's a few places in clayton And Disney. But like you said it's all rock crawling.

I'm in the same boat as you looking for a good place that's not too crazy. Colorado has an awesome selection of trails. I wish we had the same around here.

From Clayton down to Waldron Ark. is some back roads if you just like to drive and see the scenery. These roads are ruff as hell. The other option is to purchase the pass for the JC Hancock land. But as far as off road 4-wheelin that is becoming a thing of the past. Next time your down to Hodgens or Talihana you can pick up a Forest service map it shows all the unimproved roads.

I've been on some of the trails around Clayton and they range from mild to very difficult.

I'm only an hour or so away but have not been in several years.

We went to Lake Ellsworth today riding ATVs and there was part of it that could be driven on by 4x4. In fact some fella in his early twenties had a Chevy Silverado that still had the paper tag on it buried it out there. Was pretty funny.
