Yep SF is where I got the idea and a quick google search turned up the directions (if you need them)

Bucket Trap

The only difference was the cans we have are opened with an opener that goes around the edge taking the whole top off. Very simple to drill and fit that way then reattach and tape with whatever is handy. Seems to work like a charm if you can keep the dog away from the peanut butter. I'll never buy another mouse trap. Oh where the wire goes over the edge of the bucket if you bend far enough will pinch the top putting enough pressure on to hold without moving. That way there is no need to drill any holes in perfectly good buckets.

Ahh the better mouse trap.  What's with the blue tape protecting the sharp edge, didn't want the lil fucker cutting himself?

Good job.

One night. One two Kills.

I was over at bosifus' and looked in his white bucket trap @ the dead mouse and said "I coulda swore that was an orange bucket in the thread."

He looked in and was like "Right on, got another one!"

Two traps are better than one.

Gotta say, I've never seen that type of mouse trap!  That is simply brilliant!

I wonder how long they splash around in the soapy water before they die?

That is very cool!

Nice!

What do you reckon, 55 gal drum and a paint can to catch 'coons? Also got a 'possum the dog keeps catching in the back yard.

Before you
I have already considered it, but my .22 and sub sonics are too humane.

Well at least they die after having a bath.

Simple and effective...

You suppose if I built a great big un' and bolted cases of beer to the surface of the wheel I could catch ARFcommers?

Question of course would be... water wings supplied or no?
