Hey guys, I have a quick question. What's the rule on open carry in a state park?
I'm going to be doing some hiking this weekend and can't seem to find a definitive answer. I don't have a CCW |

Some will say yes because of Act 746 and others will say no.
It's a gray area for sure. If you were hunting with a pistol during season you'd be fine I think. Honestly, it gets to the point where it's just such a confusing mess that I think the state made it that way on purpose so people don't do it. ETA: if you don't have your CHCL yet, then I suggest you get one. |
