Today I am in Brookshire's and I see a guy open carrying, but he had no gun. Yes I looked close, it was empty. Guy didn't even notice I was taking his picture, he was so focused on ordering his Chinese food.

you mean you haven't heard of the invisible gun? it's the latest technology and we're supposed to use it on illegal aliens. LOL

Possibly a LEO? Park ranger? Something of that nature I would imagine.
Then again, maybe that guy next to him just stole it and you have evidence!!!

Maybe he is protesting?

Nothing says "I want open carry" like walking around with a holster.

Technically it's not open carry without a gun Maybe he just likes his holster?

He probablly carries in his car, and ditches it when he gets out, leaving the holster on.  I used to do that for a while.  hence the cross draw.

That would work well.  100% legal and accessible.  Add a wind breaker or pull a shirt tail and it's cool.
Not that I would do it.

Thanks for posting.  This requires some thought.

He left his gun in the restroom.

Crazy Richard would tell you there is a stealth generator that is hiding the gun.

It is the same stealth generator the Jews are using to hide their temple in Central Park.  yes Crazy Richard told me this.

No thanks
He prolly did leave it in the restroom cause he knew he'd be back in there shortly

Eat that stuff and then fart and you're hungry again.

Funny, I seen an off duty officer/ninja wearing like an infidel tshirt today and though, wow, kinda weak for the guy to be "Im a cop and I can open carry if I put my badge next to my gun". I mean, if the guy in the pic was open carrying with a badge, well thats a professional look, but c'mon, kinda came off douche like.

Personally I am all for open carry.  Nothing deters like knowing 30 people in the place have a pistol on their hip.

Yeah you should have said "Sir, I think you dropped something over there" and see if he began freaking out about where his gun had fallen off at..

Interesting...

There was a lot of this when MN went CHL and places like Mall of America prohibited CCW.

I'm all for it.

Just think- a criminal may pass up assaulting in order to look for your absent pistol in the mens room!

I did the same thing the other day. Wearing a belt holster with a jacket on because it was cooler in the morning, was working outside and it heated up so I took off the jacket. Jumped in the truck to go to Home Depot and was getting out and realized I still had the gun so I took it out of the holster and left it in the truck when I went in.

When I go hog hunting I rarely take off my holster cept to shit, shower or sleep.  Otherwise the holster stays on.  When we go to town and eat I shove what ever I am wearing under the seat and leave the holster on.
