So I am a Washington State resident near the border with Oregon. If I purchase a firearm online and ship it to an Oregon FFL will there be any issues regarding the transfer? Only reason I'm doing so is to avoid WSST collected on firearm transfers in my state since it would be a four digit purchase

As long as you are purchasing a long gun, there should be no problem.

Shotguns and rifles no problem, pistols or receivers are a no go.
