So I was on another website, GunAndGame...I have been there for more than a year. Recently I have become the target in the admin's eye. My posts, sometimes political in nature have begun being moved to a section where you have to pay to have access to. What a load of crap eh? That website is under Gunny Approved as #1 friendliest forum. Don't believe it. It is #1 Most Censored Gun Forum and #1 most "If you want to have a real conversation, you have to pay for it" forum. They are all worried about ads...I actually kind of like the ads at the top of AR15.com. They lead me to interesting sites. AR15 also offers a lot of hands-on information. The AR-15 schematics and how-to's are especially helpfull. The admin over there either wants to just get money from all the members or doesn't understand or have the ability or knowledge to set up banner ads, so the members suffer. GunAndGame is going the way of the privately owned "Gimme more money for everything" commercial type of mentality. They are adding more and more behind-the-scenes forums for donating members only. Steer clear of that site if you have any concerns about our government and wish to share them from time to time. You will be looked upon as an enemy at that forum. Also if you want to have a conversation about anything other than stupid word games or joke posts that last longer than 12 threads long, don't go there. Like I said, all the threads with actual helpful and meaningfull conversations are slowly being moved to the "Payed Member Only" section and all you are left with are stupid "let's play a game" or "Here's a funny joke" stupid ass threads. Buncha jackass moderators over there. "Friendliest" my ass. How many fucking conversations about shooting a damn duck or deer can a person have before you run out of things to talk about? |

Check out Kim DuToit's blog and associated forums, they rock. Kim's a naturalized American citizen from South Africa, and he's a great proponent of RKBA. First, his blog: The Other Side Of Kim The Gun Thing is a forum dedicated to well, the Gun Thing: Gun Thing And, the Nation of Riflemen is Kim's site dedicated to making America once again a Nation of Riflemen: The Nation Of Riflemen |

Not looking to drag another forum's problems over here, but as a mod at Gunandgame I want to set the record straight. The general discussion forums were being bogged down with repeated Bush bashing that usually echoed the accusations of leftists. The decision was made by the admin that non-RKBA political discussions weren't what the forum was there for. The owner's position is that his efforts to keep the forum up should be limited to firearms discussion. Also, a weblog feature was opened up to all forum members, where they were allowed to post whatever political opinions they liked, without filling the open forum with those posts that people had to sift through to find anything gun related, and also giving the author of the blog posts administrative authority over his blog so that people couldn't drag the discussions down in the same direction repeatedly. The owner has recently opened up more varied off-topic forums that are available to contributors only, with the explanation that if people want to discuss those things on his forum they need to chip in for what it costs. These are NEW forums. Unlike some websites, G&G did not take information shared by all menbers in good faith and then keep it for contributors only. G&G is a no-compromise supporter of the RKBA to its full extent, without discrimination against any firearm types. We believe that it is important to discuss political matters in a productive manner, and that the general forum political discussions did not. |

The great thing about the internet is if you don't like something, don't go there. Plain and simple. Someone who owns and pays for a website can do whatever they want with it. That being said, it gets REAL old when someone wants to always put their political opinion into every post on a site. |
