Are there any near Greenville? If not, what is the closest one?
I'm trying to stretch the legs on my new AR and shooting at an indoor range with a max distance of 15 yards isn't all that fun after a while.

Belton Gun Club and Greenville Gun Club (both private - a member can take you as a guest). COG in Laurens but cost is excess - don't know if a member can take you. Clinton House - can go as a guest. Check out their web sites.

Pickens County DNR range. It has a 100 yard range and is free

Pickens County has up to 100 yard rifle range and a pistol range. Spartanburg county range is a lot nicer and has about 20 lanes on a 200 yard range, as well as 8 or so lanes on the 100 yard range. The pistol range is nice too.
