River Bend has changed some of the rules regarding practicing for 3-gun.

4.4 - Action Pistol (AP) Range
This range has three bays for recreational and competition action shooting. A variety of targets including silhouette and IPSC targets, reactive "pepper poppers", metallic targets and metallic action falling plates may be shot on these ranges. Rimfire and centerfire handguns and rifles may be shot on bays 2 and 3. Shotguns may be shot on bays 2 and 3 (Steel shot is prohibited). Only rimfire and centerfire handguns may be shot on bay 1. Rifles chambered for 22 short, long and long rifle calibers may also be used on bay 1. Prior CRO approval is required before any member or guest may shoot shotguns or rifles on AP bays 2 and 3. Contact the CRO for information about the certification procedure.

Not bad for a bunch of fudds.

I'm a fudd, huh? WTF do you know? Best range in the state. Especially since we keep out the riff-raff and tacticool poseurs public ranges are infested with. What's your beef? No full auto? (working on that) No mag dumps? (Boo hoo. Do that at the deer club or on your own land) No suppressors? Oh yeah we fixed that rule.

Nice wide paint brush you smear folks with.

Sorry about that Ramblin.  I was being all ironical to have some fun with the folks around here that are always hating on RBGC because of some of these rules.  I guess I can see where you got the idea I was one of those folks.  I am Bruce Perry...I have been on the RBGC board for the last few years.  Proud to say I have had some hand in some of these changes.
