Planning to take my wife to PEI next year (she's an Anne Fan and earned this by putting up with me for 30 years). Any tips on getting value out of a few days on the island? We'll be staying in Cavendish, but will have a car.
In my online browsing I found Backwoods Burgers in Tyne Valley. Looks good. We both enjoy learning the history of places we visit. Thanks in advance for your advice. |

PEI is a tourist trap. I say that in a nice way..lol
Unless you are an avid golfer..you can see most of what there is to see in a day or two. The great thing is..you can visit New Brunswick and Nova Scotia easily as both ways on and off the island will bring you to both provinces. |

Thanks. I live in a touristy area, so that's familiar territory. I try to connect with locals for tips on where they eat, etc.
I'll have a rental car, so I think we can manage a trip across the bridge. My wife is excited about all the Anne stuff. Next year is our 30th anniversary, and she's earned this. |
