Called the PFD office today. My check was sent on the 7th and hasn't been cashed yet. They said I have to wait 4 weeks from the mail date before they can issue a stop payment and send me another check.  It's just wired that all 5 checks going to that address have not shown up. It's a good thing I don't need the $ for something right now.

Should have heeded the advice....better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission.
