Went to the pit with a buddy this morning. Got there around 8:00 a.m.. Just a few people at first. Got a chance to shoot my project AR for the first time at a range. Also got a chance to shoot my new Howa .308. Using the BUIS will take a little bit more time to "zero" in, but the Tru Glow was just about perfect, and now dead on.  I do however hate the trigger!!! I need to get some work done on it for sure.The Howa did very well as expected. I do however have to take it back to have the bi-pod screw looked at. I am not sure why, but it started to rip out of the carbon fiber stock they mounted it into. Only major problem for that is, you can only get the stocks from Australia. I hope I do not need a new one, with their rules from down under, it might take a ct of god to get a new stock! |
