It hurt to watch that game.  A lot.

With the exception of Charles Woodson, all of our best players are injured (Jennings and Driver are good, and others are good... but they aren't as key as the guys who are missing).

Every time the talking heads on sports radio said the packers were going to the Super Bowl I had a bad feeling a key player or two would go down. I wish it was only two...

Well, I guess it's good to know our second-team defense can hang with a decent offense for a half.

No offense Packer fans, but the little of the game I did watch, (I was mainly watching the GIANTS and the Bills - I love the NFL Package on Direct TV), I saw poor execution on basic plays. Injuries or not, Driver/WR's dropping balls, lack of running game, Rodger's throwing the ball away in OT, and Woodson's key penalties didn't help your cause.

The good news is that there is still a lot of season left and a lot of football to be played.

THis sucks.  I was really believing the hype that packers could be SB bound this year.  Not much of chance now IMO.  You can have other players step up and perform when other guys get injured, but at some point it becomes too many injuries.  And the NFL thinks an 18 game season is a good idea?

At this point I'm just going to have to relish the Vikings collapsing in upon themselves and not making it to the SB, and hopefully not the playoffs.

The funny thing is, they had a running game yesterday, even without Jackson's 71-yarder he averaged like 5 yards per carry.  But they quit running the ball.  The play calling has been terrible, and yesterday the dropped balls were just ridiculous.

It was nice to see the 2nd team D do pretty well, 13 points and 3 in overtime should be about 1/3 as many as the offense should produce.

Ref bashing...  I loved the no call on the hold on Matthews in the end zone, which would have been a safety.  Rodgers had a helmet-to-helmet hit that was not called.  Is his head invisible to NFL Referees?  It looked like holding was not being called yesterday.  There were quite a few holds on both sides of the ball there were not called.  Go J-E-T-S!!!  Jets, Jets, Jets!

With any luck baby face finley, Clay crow-magnum and his boyfriend Rodgers will be out for awhile.  A way overrated team, finally playing to there true potential.
