What saith the hive?
It's time to replace mine and I'm curious what the consensus is on the htf. I've carried the Fox Labs stuff for awhile. The "green" could be interesting. I've seen the Kimber dual shot but don't know much about it. |
| Back when I researched it 5+ years ago it seemed like Fox Labs was the way to go. I carry an ASP Key Defender because of the form factor (i.e. I don't look like a girlie man, it works great for sticking in my pocket and letting my keys hang out). The wife unit carries the smaller ASP Palm Defender. She prefers it because it is smaller than a traditional keychain unit. I got her Fox Labs previously but it eventually got left off the keychain because of the size. LaRue will be here shortly to discuss the brand he likes ad nauseum that he claims is the best stuff evah. |

Sabre Red is what, 2 Million SHU? Same as Cold Steel Inferno...and the stuff in the ASP Palm.
The ASP Palm is cool because of the body and form factor....and who doesn't like swinging a key flail at a guy you just OC'ed? Vexor is what Marietta PD uses.....15 million SHU...... By the numbers, it's mo' betta. Right? And it's not like it costs more. It can be even be found in some walmarts apparently. But then again...suck is suck... The Kimber two-shot thing sucks to breath the odor and get in the eyes...but it's can be fought past. Don't ask me how I know. The only advantage I see is that it's going to spread less than a spray..... ETA: Fox does 5.3 mill...but I've never looked into it or asked anyone that used it....I have to do some research...cool. |
