Just a thought to speed things up.  I have an older slower computer, and dsl and these multi picture threads really drag in on that too.

Take a few minutes,  adjust  the densities to  as close to 92-95 pixels per inch as your program allows.  Any finer density doesn't matter for viewing on the internet and adjust the size down to fit a screen. This only takes about 30 secs a picture.

THEN REMEMBER TO SAVE UNDER A NEW NAME - DON'T LOSE YOUR ORIGINAL HIGHER DEFINITION "NEGATIVE".  (I usually save under the new name before manipulating, learned that after saving a new cropped pic under the original name and lost the original, OK a few times.  Most guys can probably do it without taking the extra step at the beginning.  Us old fuds can't remember some things.)

Post only 4-5 pics per post.  This will speed things up for most viewers.

The standard resolution for images on the internet is 72dpi.  All pics that are .jpgs that you see on any web site are set at this resolution.  If people could do PaDanby says and resize before posting it would be much better.

You can even set your camera up before you even take the pictures to save the image at 72dpi.  If you know you don't need a high resolution version of what you're shooting then go ahead and change your camera settings beforehand.

It's clearly explained in your manual how to do this.
