I recently was able to land our Buddy Death451 a free slot in an upcoming two day Combat Rifle Competition. There are 9 different stages and all seem to be very well thought out. It will be on July 8th and 9th. Prizes include a at least two guns, several various vests, slings, cases of ammo, Magpul goodies, etc. You can camp at the range ($5 a night) or stay at a local hotel. The problem is it is in Michigan just NE of Battle Creek. Is there anyone interested in going to this match with Paul? It's $85 to enter and is limited to 60 shooters. I figure this is a good way to get Defensive Edge techniques known to the world with our own high speed, low drag, bad motherf*&ker! I'm already part of the sponser team; anyone else willing to help? Just out of curiosity, is there anything else going on in conjunction with this that would attract a non-participant? I'm not nearly HSLD enough to participate, but if there was lots of cool stuff to watch and do, I maybe, maybe, maybe might be able to take a road trip. What about accomodations, etc.? How does that work? |
