Another vote for Stans BBQ! Best part about it is the sauce is on the side. I bring in a bottle of Corkys sauce and no one gets offended. Also, up in the highlands is Sip, a winebar. Decent stuff. Agave, a mexican joint, is right next to it. Fancier than the average mexican food joint, and the prices reflect this. Im so so about their food, but they got one hell of a selection of tequilas!!!!! You can do tequila flights! |

You guys nailed all the good ones! Stan's BBQ, Jak's Steakhouse, Issaquah/Rogue Brewhouse, and XXX burger. All of them are basically on the same road, Front St.
If you go to Jak's on a Friday or Saturday night be prepared to wait a long time and they do not take reservations. |

Jak's off "Front Street" is one of the best places in the entire state to get a steak...... just be prepared to pay for it. They aren't cheap by any means. Oh and the "XXX Drive in" is great (although its not a drive in any longer). Jak's Steak is CHEAP compared to the Met, yet is of equal or greater quality... We have one in West Seattle. |

Our summer consists of a partly-cloudy day in late July when the rain lets up for a few hours. If the timing is right you may get to enjoy it with us You are in for a treat, both in food and scenery. Get the extra large frosty mug root beer at XXX. It will not disappoint. The rest of the recommendations are spot-on. I'd add Coho Cafe for a sit-down type dinner. Anything they make will be good, try the salmon if you've never had it. At Stan's, eat until you have BBQ poisoning . Across the street is Fischer's meats, you can get some landjeager to help with the protein withdrawals next day.
The area is beautiful, bring your hiking boots, for a cheap spectacular cruise take the ferry ride to Bainbridge. If you're here for a Friday night, there is a world-famous rifle league regularly attended by arfcommers, see the 87,000 page thread located elsewhere in the HTF. |

There is a place better than Jak's, cheaper, and less wait... |
