I recently sold my Taurus PT-145 to my cousin. I'm meeting him in Omak tomorrow to do the hand off. I think this is one of those guns I will probably regret selling later on. I got a sweetheart deal on a GLOCK 36 from Sam's and I can't justify having 2 compact .45's so the Taurus goes to a new home. I feel kind of sad when I pick it up because it fits my hand so well. The god damn trigger sucks on it and that is my only complaint. The GLOCK feels good too and I can shoot better with it but damn I sure hate to see that Taurus go.

I too, just recently, sold off my PT145.  I also sold off two other pistols.  I used the proceeds to purchase new golf clubs.

Since I carry a Glock for work now, I use it exclusively when at the range.  It doesn't pay for me to waste training time on another weapon when it will be the Glock that is in my hand when I need a gun.  (And you can read about my "hair's width..." experience, I had on New Year's eve, on the Brothers of the Shield forum)

ehh, look at it this way... The PT145 is relatively inexpensive (compared to the g36 at least).  Wait a year or so, maybe Taurus will change the trigger and you can buy a brand new one to your liking.

Only problem is you don't use a duty holster off duty.
Grip and trigger is what can make the diff though..

Your biggest regret will likely be driving to Omak!

You are right. It's depressing little town. It seems like everyone there is down on their luck.

+1 I never got a good impression there either. Always happy to keep on passing through.
