Rumor has it that Mitch may run for president in 2012. uhmmm, where has that been said? The Bedford Times-Mail newspaper made mention of the rumor a few days ago. The article stated that he has said that he probably won't run, but then goes on to state that many, many former presidents said they weren't going to run then did.

very true but thats what has been said regarding her thoughts on him running for president I, like many can sneak in a gun purchase here and there without her knowning but running for president....I think she may find out about that

Olycar15 You realize that the toll roads were costing us money not making us money right? The lease on the roads was one of the smartest things Mitch has done. And he has done a LOT os smart things in office. We are one of only 3 or 4 states that are in the black right now. |

I would like to see the info that you are talking about as far as not making any money on the TR. I find that a bit hard to believe. They made $4 a day off of me for 4 years. As far as being in the black that is true but the TR was a short term band aid, lets see if we are in the black 3 years from now. That will be a challenge without raising taxes. After all that is the easiest thing for them to do to balance the budget. How many less people do you think will be paying state taxes next April? Elkhart was one of the worst areas affected in the country. There is going to be a big hole in our tax revenue next year. Unless there are some big cuts or hikes this year or next, our state will slip below the water as well. Olycar15 |
