| Drove by earlier and the range is open again. I'll be sending some rounds down range next week. |
| That's good news. I heard the ventiliation situation is governed by Fed (EPA?) rules, requiring the whole system to get upgraded at once, big $$$, and not piece mealed. That would have been affordable to do, and they would have been adding improved parts as $ permitted.. |
Ya gotta feel a little for the Powder Room. They were there LONG before all these homes went up. Hell, if you don't want to live near a gun range, don't buy there!
Having said that, they are doing minimal upkeep, as it is leased land. Contract was renewed 2 or 3 years ago, but I don't know for how long. Too bad. I was one of the early members many moons ago and it was a pretty good group of guys sitting around in the dead of winter, drinking coffee and talking guns and hunting. Haven't been back in a while now. |

Haven't been back in a while now. Didn't they stop selling memberships to the range? I thought I read something there that they were no longer accepting members. I wonder if that means they anticipate a sunset on the store / range in the not so distant future? Didn't they used to allow Full auto on their? Id swear that when I called 6 months they said they did. Now that I got something to shoot they told me no when I called them monday. Looks like a black wing membership is in my future. |
