What do you suppose a ACOG TA31f with a LaRue 4xDOS (LT100) is worth secondhand? I know what the retail is but I wonder what the going price is used. It is suppose to be "like new" and the photos look real good.

What about the small cracks in the light tube on top it seems they all have...big deal or not.

Thanks, Paul

I would search through the EE for comps. I know it sounds obvious, but that or ebay might give you the best results. Find out the date of manufacture as well, as that will dictate quite a bit.

Ya, I know...And I had a pretty good idea that it was a good deal...trouble is "ya snooze you loose". I didn't jump right on it and it was gone within a couple of hours. I really wasn't in a position to drop 850 clams right now, no matter how good the deal. Hate to see it slip by but there will be another time...

I was debating between an ACOG, with a Dr.Optic on top eventually, or the TR21R 1.25x4. I went with the variable, and I have some mixed feelings about it. It's great at 4x, but takes some getting used to at the lower power. You're welcome to try it out once we get a range day set up. I also wanted to shoot it side by side with Dorsai's ACOG, to get some comparisons going.

DocCheney, when's the next ghetto southside shoot?
