There is a ProGunShow in Columbus on Feb 9-10th. I'm just wondering if these gun shows are worth going to? My friend and I are really getting in to guns and just wondered if these are worth the $7 entry fee even if you don't have the money right now to buy anything there.

They have quite a selection of all kinds of firearms and acceseries. Its worth going so you can have a chance to look and handle stuff. Just make sure you ask if you can handle something first.

They are usually at least twice as big and always have a better crowd. You will not see the "gangsta" types that have overun the Hara shows.

What are the chances I can find a semi auto .22 pistol for plinking for 150-175? Used or new? I just need something cheap to shoot and practice with until I have the kind of money to buy a good home defense weapon. Just don't wanna get my hopes up of actually coming home with a gun, if it's impossible.

What are the Cheaper Semi-auto's that I might want to keep a look out for?

You can find Smith and Wessons that are pretty nice in that price range. If not at the show I know there are some in that range at Vances or Buckeye Outdoors.
