Guys,
I'm moving down to southern CA. Are you guys able to buy reloading components online? I would probably buy my powder and primers locally, but like to purchase bullets, and brass online. Are there any bans on buying any reloading components online? Thanks, Yak |

primers are as available here as thery are anywhere else. powder, too.
it depends where you are moving to. which city? turner's oputdoorsman is the biggest chain stocking powder and primers. some gun shows have them, costa mesa is one. others don't, it's usually a county ordinance or a fire marshall thing. welcome, glad to see another right-mined type moving in!!!!! |

I'm a bit confused by the responses. Let me try to ask a better question. Can I buy bullets (just the projectiles, not ammo) and brass online from CA and have them shipped to a CA address? Or is there a ban preventing online sales for projectiles and brass? Thanks, Yak |

Yes. Some companies will not ship to specific areas like city of Los Angeles on some things because of city ordinances or just company policy. Cheaper than Dirt comes to mind. What you are thinking is that AB something stupid law that will kick in I believe Feb 2011 restricting out of state internet or phone sale of "handgun" ammo. Restriction does not apply to shotgun or rifle ammo though. |
