I feel like a fool for asking this, but does anyone know anything about early sarfiland vests? I have an early model that was purchased in 1971 and wore it it daily for years. I recently dug it out and cleaned it, in case. Tried to find the lit, for it but can't locate it. All I can remember is that it is 28 layers of kevlar and is 1" thick. Seems like it could withstand 44 cal, although I doubt if the wearer could. I tried Safariland's site but all they list is the current versions. Any ideas? Thanks |
