Proud father of 4 new girls...  Turns out sometimes when you let a rifle and a spare upper sit next to each other in the safe, they shag like rabbits.

Since they're replicating like crazy, I'll take one from the next litter. Are they pure bread?

Looks nice...

I would hope they're made from aluminum and steel rather than wheat.

They look really happy together, but I'd do a paternity test on #5.  It looks like the milkman may have visited.

Ha like he caught above those are NFA plastic lowers.

I finished my armorers class a few weeks ago and really wanted to build a new AR.  Well I've been having problems sourcing the parts I want at the prices I want, and while shopping came across these "improved" Plum Crazy lowers.  I had no interest in one for myself but for maybe my .22 upper... then when I saw how cheap these were I started shopping around for a source on some uppers.  Fat Boy Tactical made me a deal on four 1:7 M4 uppers and next thing you know I'm building my dad and two brothers AR-15's for Christmas.  I really wanted to build these from scratch but you just can't compete with some of the prices of the already assembled stuff unless you are building a custom rifle or really patient watching sales and bargain bins. Built these with the sight handle and a window PMAG (thanks to INEEDMOREGEAR) for about $520 each.

So my GF sees me buying this stuff and I get "hey did you ever think I might want one for Christmas too?"  So that makes four.  It's going to be fun paying off that credit card for the next 6 months, and now I have to find something big to buy for my mom and daughter since they didn't want an AR of their own.

The fifth is my 3-gun rifle... CMMG M4LEPII w/ Samson 7-EX hand guard and Nikon M223 3-9 scope, Vltor E-Mod butt stock.

I love how these cheepies look in my safe though... Going to be very hard to pull them out in December to wrap them.

I like the floral furniture in the background, adds to the badassery of the images.
but to repeat notPolyTek, looks like you could've used the $$ for training with 3, or 2, or maybe just your original AR, but thats just my opinion

Nicely done!  I don't think my pistol will end up that cheap and that's including the PIF parts GoGOP fronted me.

Excelent reason to build 4 of the same

Well I thought about it like this... even with the guns I own, if unwrapped a Hi-Point 9mm or a GSG .22 MP5 with a fake can on it... I'd be ecstatic that someone bought me a gun for Christmas.

And since there was no way I could afford to buy 4 stripped $1000 rifles for Christmas, and giving someone half of a AR-15 didn't seem fair, I figured these four people who all own guns but have never owned an AR-15 would be happy getting a ready to rock $500 gun that that though plagued with a bad stigma will likely out live there infrequent handling and pinking.  And if they do end up wanting to use it more seriously, they already have a pretty good upper that could be mated to a lower of their choosing at a later date.
