OK, so I turned 21 last fall and have decided that I would like to get my ccw permit.  Now, I don't own a handgun...yet, but would like to take a class and submit my papers over my spring break.

I was planning on taking the class 7 March with Jack Demmie.  I just wanted to know if anybody has any personal experience with Mr. Demmie, good or bad.

Thanks for the help.

Never heard of them, are they registered NRA instructors?  There were issues in the past were classes were being held and the instructor was not NRA certified and there were issues with the Judge signing off on the CHP.

That being said, what is the course agenda?  Does it include both classroom and range time?  What is covered during the class?  Will there be a guest lawyer as a speaker or will the instructor cover the law?

If your really unsure and there hasn't been a outpouring of opinions, ask the instructor for a few references, understanding that the customers maybe unwilling to talk, but folks in the business should be able to provide some references.
