Theres been a van there, for 3 strait days. Are they living there? Theres like 5 cans of gas under their van and a table full of garbage and they just sit outside of it in chairs all day. One of the guys is an older dude and the other is a little younger both look like they havent seen town in a bit (dirty) I want to shoot, dang them! (yes I know theres another pit futher up but I like the first one) Alsoooooo Saw someones dog or a wolf run across the road infront of me (way way too big for coyote) about 1 minute before yuo go past that tipped over white car off to the right of the road. Just a heads up incase anyones missing a dog again. I didnt figure it was a wolf, too dumb for a wolf. |

if youre talking about the very first pit, the one that is usually the most trashed. I saw a guy there with a van last saturday. he had a small table by the back of his van. it had a ton of crap on it. I didnt know what to make of it. It didnt look like he was there for shooting. I bet theyre making a home out of my blast zone. ETA: on the way back down late that night 'bout 11:30, something ran accross the path of my friends vehicle. i didnt really see it, but he stopped, backed up and found its eyes with a flashlight. no tellin what it was, but it was a smaller 4 legged creature. it was somewhere after site 4 (the long range) and the big pit.

well, weren't we supposed to be doing like 4 a year? so we should be due, ya know, every 3 months. who remembers when the last one was... january? oh yeah then there was the memaloose cleanup, that was pretty damn cool...  |

You ever drive by me? I go around 11pm-3am and 11am-3pm (when i go, depending on heat) big green van! Yeah its the same guys same table. First time I went by I thougth they were shooting back down at the road with how the table was. 2nd time down past it I realized it was a table full of used foodstuffs and garbage. One of them was half in the road sitting on his big spinny chair today it was annoying. There WERE 2 vans, I wonder if one broke down or what. On a good note, I found a ton of shot up CDs where I went to today and picked up some of the ones they never hit. All worked, it was nice to have some different music on the way home :P If any of you see me out there shooting feel free to stop by and say HI! I usually gots beer and a couple guns with me. (its a big green van and I am a tall guy with a beard) |
The last shoot was in Enterprise. Maybe next year we'll have a better turnout. Slackers.

I went up a coupple of days ago and there was an older guy in a white chevy van he was sitting on some kids toy picking up brass.... then later on he went off into the bushs sat there and just watched me... i was alone so it made be a bit nervous... kept my sidearm on me and loaded at all times... it seems everytime i go up there theres a fin crack head picking up brass Jess |

They are still there! I went again with my friends and sure enough they were there so we went to the next one (around 11pm at night) weird thing was this time about 7 trucks were parked on the opposite side of the 1st pit where the 2 guys and their home have been sitting the past few weeks. Heard them driving all over in 2 trucks one with a spotlight all over the place up and down the quarry. I did go shooting with them there the next morning, they dont seem to say anything but sit in their little area. I suppose they are there to stay :P Must be near harvest or something to stay when so much crap happens nearby. I did see some guy with a thompson as I was leaving yesterday afternoon, that was kind of cool! |
