...about minimum caliber for rifles. When I took the Hunter Safety Course years ago, I'm nearly positive that the minimum caliber to hunt big game (deer/pig) was .24 - is that still true? Looking through the handbook I see no references to minimum rilfe caliber, only for handgun caliber. I tried a search on the DFG website, but to no avail. Does anyone happen to know the law/code specifying rifle calibers, if there is one? edit: misspelled deer (dear): damn you freud |
