I work part time at a new range that opened in Ballwin, MO.  I am trying to help management figure out different online avenues to connecting to people.  If they want to advertise up coming classes, events, sales or specials is there a membership level that allows them to do that?  Or is that type of stuff not allowed at all in the MO sub forum?

Thanks,
Phil

I see other people advertise various shoots/matches/training, but I don't know the rules. If nobody answers, I'd send a message to Striker for an answer.

Thanks.  I will do that.

IIRC being an instructor ( gun icon by avatar ) allows them to advertise their classes once a month. They would need to be a site sponsor to consistently post events and such.

Thank you.

I found the 3 different membership levels, but I could not find any info about sponsorship.  I thought they would have to sponsor somehow, but thought that maybe that was part of one of the memberships (which it did not appear to be from what I read).

Thanks again,
Phil

As GoGop suggested earlier, that most likely would be something the business would have to take up with site staff.

Why won't you guys answer your phone?

I'm a pre-open subscriber and have not been able to reach anyone for 2 days.

What is the status of the range?

Are you talking about The Range not answering their phone?

The number is 636-220-1300 and they are open.  The grand opening was on Saturday, but the phones have been working for a few weeks at least.

Ya,

After my email to kim last week was ignored...

and my calls on Tues and yesterday went unanswered

I drove to the range last night and found out it was open.

I pre-paid in the first week that pre-registration was available and have been waiting all this time.  I didn't renew w/ another range to do so.

I call it a BIG FAIL: not communicating the opening [you had all pre-registrants' emails and phone numbers], leaving the old defunct website up, ignoring the old phone rather than forwarding the number to the new number, not communicating the new phone number, not communicating a new website...

Just is piss poor business.

Wish I had a better answer for you than I do.  I just started working there part time, I was not affiliated with them at the old shop.  So I cannot give any answers about how they did or did not handle stuff coming from the old shop.  I can tell you that we have had lots of email problems, but that had all been sorted out for a week or so.  Assuming you are sending a email to her at The Range email and not American Arms.

Sorry that you feel slighted, that is certainly not anything that I nor management would want.  Did you talk to Kim or any of the management up there yesterday when you went up?  If not I will pass the info along so we can make sure that others that pre purchased from American Arms get notification.

Every page has a link to information about commercial accounts at the left hand lower corner.

The rules for individual instructors are different and you'll have to read the rules in that forum.  A vetted instructor has some privilege for advertising in the home town forum, but you'll have to go read the rules for yourself.

The red button link to the conduct code is over on the right hand side of the page.
