| For any of you that OC on a daily basis, how do you handle the laws regarding transport of the firearm in a vehicle? Do you only OC when you are walking somewhere, or do you constantly deal with unloading and casing the gun everytime you drive somewhere? |

Gotta be WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY up north....? ![]() In Madison, particularly in my neighborhood, if I were to walk outside armed I would be cuffed before I made it to my car. Very nice neighborhood with TONS of cops living around me. I'm a country boy stuck in the city. When we head up to our cabin up north, we always carry, on the property. Bear issues, and they're not afraid of us.. Just too many |
Racine I'm thinking SWAT LOL |
| I live in Beaver Dam and work in Madison. I wouldn't do it in Madison just because I visit client sites a lot and that would go over like a lead ballon. I do want to start around BD though, and see what happens. Just seems like a lot of hassle to unload and case it every time I need to drive somewhere, but I'm guessing that's the only way to do it. You'd think the anti-gunners would realize how much less safe it is to make someone handle their gun 20 times a day instead of just once in the morning and once at night. I guess that would require logical thinking though. |
Unfortunately, unless it's sitting on the dash (violating the safe transport provisions), the above meets the criteria for CCW. |
Yes it does, but I'm seriously at the point that I don't give a rats ass anymore, that and when it happens I'm on a range 9 out of 10 times. |
