So its going on 3 months since I paid my designer 1/2 of our aggreed upon price. For what I am doing, I know it should not have taken longer than a month, even if he was busy. I swear I have the worst luck with this crap.
I have 3 domain names registered by 1and1.com, and I have my hosting with another company. Heres my question - If he is not done tomorrow, I am cutting loses and looking elsewhere. Do I need any information from him as far as anything the new designer would need so he can pick up where he left off (codes, etc)? The web pages are up with a slight bit of info on them. One page each, thats all. I am guessing a guy that knows what he is doing can figure it out, but I dont know. |

Did the guy set up the domain registrations and hosting or did you? You'll want to make sure you have usernames and passwords to get to everything.
The webmaster at my company does side work. I know he's pretty busy rolling out our new site, but he may be able to help you out. I'll get you his contact info if you want. Shoot me a PM. |

It'll piss off local folks, but we have done this for logos etc and had good results.

| I heave done quite a bit of web design work. All you need is the accunt info. If you set it up you have what you need for another developer to stay working on it. What you need its the account number, user name and password. Once you have that they can log in and start. Need to also make sure that all three accounts are in your name, both the hosting and the domain name. If you need more help let me know. |
