There's a guy in Portsmouth that's got three CUCV ('85 Military Blazer) and I'd like to buy one: getting immediate insurance coverage is no problem, however a plate from NY would be.
Will the VA DMV issue a 5 day temporary plate as the result of a sale of a VA titled vehicle owned by an individual to another individual of another State?

VA DMV will issue a 'trip ticket', but I'm not sure if they'll issue it to someone from out of state.
