On the "assault weapons" form, under importer what do I put of it's made in the USA?
For example for my Noveske Gen 2 lowers.
Also do I still need to write a sworn affidavit proving all items were purchased prior to 4/1 I'm conjunction with filling out the states form?
Any other advice you guys can tell me before I send these out?
Ugh thanks guys

Leave the importer field blank or put "n/a" in it. If submitting the forms you need to provide proof as the form indicates that you purchased the firearm prior to 4/4/13. They request you do that via "a valid sales receipt and/or a DPS-3, or sworn
affidavit that the specified assault weapon was purchased in compliance with state and federal laws."

As to additional advice, read the many other threads in this home town forum from others who have registered.

how are you filling out the mag form….for example high cap .223 mags…..I guess when you report these they will automatically know you have a pre ban AR…so are you kinda registering your pre ban anyway?

not sure how to fill out the mag form…maybe instead of putting AR under type you could put .223 instead? unsure

any help would be appreciated

I feel they should have wrote "Caliber" instead of type.  It confuses everyone I talk to.

That's funny i never thought about this...if you only have preban ARs and you register only mags then yea the state knows that you have ARs I guess....if they can put 2 and 2 together...

Why put AR under "Type"? I think people are putting the caliber type under the "Type" field like the example shows. So for a Pmag you'd put...
Make: Magpul
Type: .223/5.56
Capacity: 30
Number of Magazines: 1,000,000
