| Looking to buy a new upper. Either 458 socom or 6.8. Would it be legal to import 30 round mags for the socom here in Cali? I have read only ten rounds fit into a standard 30 round pmag but no modification means the 556 cartridge would still fit. What's the legalities with this? |
| Maybe just sand off the "5.56x45" markings up near the feed lips and relabel with the new cartridge designation. Also make sure your lower is not marked as 5.56 if you plan on doing it that way. I've seen people in my area use p-mag for 50 beowolf with out even relabeling, I live in the stick though we don't get bothered to much. |
