I'm looking into joining a range/club in the Denver Metro Area.  So far I've found the following places that may meet what I'm looking for:

Golden Gun Club
Wildlife Hunters
CO Rifle Club
Ben Lomond
Buffalo Creek Gun Club

What am I looking for?  A place where I can...
Draw from concealment & shoot from retention, multiple targets, move around doing "box drills," etc...  Shoot the AR from arm's length out to 300 yds or better.  As far as rifle ranges go, the longer the better.  I have a 7mm mag that I'd like to start trying out past the standard 100yds.  Also looking for a place that would be open to me using the range to teach a few NRA classes &/or possibly host more in depth defensive classes.  Having access to skeet/trap/sporting clays to brush up before Dove season starts would be a nice bonus too.

Obviously being able to do all this stuff depends on how busy the range is at any given time, but I do have days off during the week to get out & classes would need to be scheduled months in advance.

Of those listed above I've talked to a couple guys from Golden Gun Club & they seemed to be receptive to all of the above as long as I'm not doing something stupid.

Any input on these or other options would be much appreciated as would (hint...hint...) the opportunity to check them out first hand before I lay down the cash, but a simple range intro would let me see what I need to see & make judgements from past experiences.

Thank you for reading through all this & any info you may have.

Should have the long range rifle brums done soon and they have other people running classes so why not you.

any place that holds IDPA or 3 gun gives you all that and more, w/out having to become a member. but it's always nice to be able to hit the range during hrs of opertion just to hone your skills. which of the ranges that you're interested in have openings at this time ?

www.auroragunclub.com in Aurora, Co. They do however, seem to be having issues with encroaching housing development, so the Golden Gun Club might be a better choice.

I think aurora has a wait list.

CRC is a no-go when it comes to anything "tactical". Also no .50's on the 1000yd range which is lame.
