Any decent ranges/clubs up near Buford? I'd like to shoot at something over 300 yards every once in a while without having to drive several hours to do it. I'm not a huge fan of indoor, but hit Bullseye every once in a while. I've been to South River several times, but really farther than I want to drive all the time.
I know there is Cherokee Gun Club up this way in Gainesville, but I don't know anyone there and their website doesn't really tell me much about their ranges. What do you guys think? |

There is also www.rbgc.org This one looks interesting. Looks like they have a 600 yard range on their range map. I might have to find out what kind of a waiting list they have. I dont know about their waiting list, but I do believe first year dues are aproximately 900 bucks. 300 a yr for membership and 600 to keep the undesireds out, ofter the first year its just 300 a yr. You cannot shoot on the move (unless you are shooting a match that requires it) and they are not suppressor or full auto friendly. |

There is no waiting list, just a background check and recommendation from 2 members. The rest of Adams post is accurate. There will ikely be some rules changes as the action shooting area becomes available. |
