OK, I can't take it anymore. I'm going to cave and do something I have never done before - pay to shoot somewhere. I want to put some rounds through my AK and XD, and I have a friend who is also interested in an XD subcompact 45, who wants to try my 45 tactical model as well as maybe rent the sub. A place that will allow you to bring your own ammo (federal and tula, most likely) and boasts good time rates much prefered. Help appreciated in advance. Thanks!

What part of the state are you in? I do all of my indoor shooting at HiCaliber. Nicks is to dark and poorly ventilated. Haven t tried the range at Big Woods yet.

Right now in ATL area. From Savannah, which is why paying to shoot somewhere is a first for me, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

I have heard good things about HiCaliber, so its on my list... though admittedly kinda far.

Bullseye isnt the greatest range but not horrible plus you can rent an XD 45 compact as well as FA toys.

My new favorite is quite a bit farther from ATL but Trigger Time in Braselton is a well run outfit.

I very rarely shoot indoors, now when my supressor comes in I'll be shooting there more until my paperwork clears.

Creekside - outdoor shooting range.  Its a 45-60 minute drive from downtown.  Its $20 for the day.  Absolutely worth it.

Membership is $175 for the year.
