The Rogers Shooting School conducted a private five day Intermediate/Advanced reactive handgun training course in Ellijay, Georgia May 6-11, 2012. The school is owned and operated by Bill Rogers, a former FBI Special Agent and champion shooter.

On the philosophy page of the school’s website, he states: “The main difference between our school and others is that we teach the students how to successfully engage small partial targets that are only exposed for .50 to .75 of a second. From the first drill of the first day, our targets are exposed for less than a second and they never get slower.” The ability to hit a target in those short periods of time is how he defines ‘reactive’ shooting.

It's nice to have that kind a training capability.

I went to Rogers last year. It is by far the best training I've ever had. I won't list any of the other schools I've attended, I don't want to
start a knockdown/dragout. If you have a chance to go; do it!! I took the handgun with close range carbine. I enjoyed the carbine part but if I had to do it over I would skip the carbine.
The carbine training was good as well but it makes for long days. We shot around 2500 rds for the week with approx 50% being one handed, weak and strong side.
I ended up with an Intermediate rating in both the pistol and carbine.

They run some great courses up there.  I attended some years ago, good stuff.  A friend of mine is an adjunct Instructor there and  Bill & Christie Rogers are great folks

The Rogers Shooting School is one of the best kept secrets in the industry.  If you can walk away with an intermediate or even advanced, chances are the person is probably better than most with a handgun.
