Ok, so the rest of my toys for the new rifle (This One) have finally shipped, and will be arriving tomorrow. Yay backorders. Not too thrilled that it's taken so long, but at the same time, I haven't really had any opportunities to shoot recently. So, my question is: Now that I've got (Or will have by the end of tomorrow) my scope, and various mounting gear, should I assume that I'll be installing it myself? Or should I be making an appointment with a gunsmith? Some considerations: I've never done it before. Ever. I know how it's supposed to be done, and I guess there's a first time for everything. I also don't own a torque wrench... EDIT: Well, damn, that was easy.  Badger's actually got a nice set of instructions online for the "You're too cheap to buy a torque wrench" crowd.Pictures coming... Eventually. When my camera is un-jacked up. |
