Heard this morning that Coleman was only ahead by two votes............does this surprise anybody?

I would not read too much into it. From the sounds of it, its because other totals for Coleman have NOT been added back in. Its a math thing that the RedStar screwed up on.

All the recently "released" challenged votes have NOT been added in. They are looking at only the challenged ones.

A couple of folks close to the process said that Coleman is still REALLY ahead by 185.

Re: Recount Update

And a merry TGIF to you all! Just a couple of quick notes to recap on what transpired yesterday and where things are going today….

Today is the day the State Canvassing Board has indicated they would like to have the process of reviewing and deciding on challenged ballots completed.  As we indicated yesterday, because of procedural reasons regarding the way the process has been playing out this week, you will likely see the numbers continue to flip flop around and go upside down as a good-sized chunk of withdrawn challenges from the Franken campaign have not yet been awarded back into Norm Coleman’s column.

By the time you receive this email, the temporary lead that will present itself to Franken will have taken place – and throughout the day that temporary lead will grow.

We expect that you will continue to see that happen throughout today and until every ballot that was legally and validly cast has been recounted and a total can be certified. So while varying headlines and a flurry of different numbers will continue, we encourage everyone to just hang on until the process is finished.   When it is finished, Norm Coleman will still lead, and we believe, be re-elected to the United States Senate.

im tired of this crock of shit.

( checking votes ) "see, that voter must have sneezed, so this here buggar on the edge of the paper is a vote for Franken"

"and this smudge off in the corner is only 5" from Frankens circle, so therefore its a vote for Franken"

my opinion- if you cant properly fill in a stupid little circle, your vote shouldnt count.

Bingo.  I couldn't care less about "disenfranchising" sheeple that are too stupid to figure out how to complete a ballot.

But as has been suggested, this thing won't end until Stuart Smalley has stolen the election.  He's good enough, he's smart enough, and gosh darnit, people like him.

It all boils down to the 130+ double counted votes, which will be heard in front of a judge instead of being presided over by the MNSC. (which, all things considered, it a good thing ... two Repub appointed judges had recused themselves)

The 38vote lead that franken has will disappear in a puff of smoke once the judge has a look at the case law regarding these. There is precedent in other states as well as with MN Law (I can't quote chapter/verse ... sorry) that identifies why these dupe votes must be thrown out.

Even the Franken team is REALLY worried that they get public exposure.

So, 130 - 38 = 92 votes

If the absentee votes tally more than that for Franken,  funny man wins. Otherwise, its all Coleman.

Both parties have fallen into the shitter, the fact that MN would actually be this close is an indicator of how far into the shitter MN has fallen.
