Looks good dude; gonna be a sage-rat slayer???
I have gone through an Eotech and a couple Aimpoints and now have and LOVE my Micro T-1. I'll probly be getting another one this year also. I'm thinking maybe that's not quite what you are talking about though, eh? Something more like a Trijicon RMR or Burris Fastfire??? That little Triji gets rave reviews in almost every use it sees, whether on a Glock 19, a shotgun, or pulling backup duty on a rifle. |

I have a T1 as well and it is by far the best RDS I have used. They make a 2 moa version now which may be better for more precise shots. The only drawback is the cost, at almost $600 it stings a little.
I think the PA clones would be your best bet. I haven't used one but have heard great things. I have experienced their customer service though and it is some of the best in the business. If you encounter any problems with their products they will take care of you for sure. |

So I got my RAMP mount and got it all mounted up. See pick below. Now I need to get a red dot on it... you know for the close in kamikaze sage rats .
Let me know what you are using and what you like about it. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o136/pnwsmoker/2012-01-25190926.jpg That is nothing to joke about. My group was out one day and one of our number got to shooting at a sage rat. His first shot missed and the damn thing charged him. It moved fast enough that it was too close for the scope before he could line up a follow-up shot. My friend had to give it a butt-stroke with his 10/22 to break it's back. It was a sobering experience for us all. These are dangerous wild animals and are not to be taken lightly. I shudder even now to think about how I might have lost a good friend that day. |
