Just got a Gen II redimag.  I'd like to have someone do some modifications to it similar to the Blue Force Gear redimag.  I'm trying to shave some of the weight off.  Anyone know if I can get this done around here?

Simple way is to drill holes in it vs. carving out a square hole
It's easier but keeps more metal around.

If you later really want the square hole, then just cut from hole to hold and trim with a dremel grinder

Thanks.  I should've added that I have no tools to do any of this.  I'd like to either pay a little bit to get this done or trade a new SureFire E1E for anyone's services

So you need either a drill press or a milling machine ?? or access to them.

lol, either/or  I guess.  I don't really have the expertise to use them.  Would be willing to watch and learn though

Do you know the size of the holes (dia) ?? or have a pic or link ?

here's a link.  I'm not very mechanically inclined, so I can't give diameter sizes or anything.  http://stores.greygrouptraining.com/-strse-2347/BluFor-LW-dsh-RM-dsh-15-dsh-II-dsh-A2/Detail.bok#

that sucks.  I may suck it up and buy one and just sell this one, but I'd rather not do that.

I am in Spanaway. Got a drill press and a mill. Just not sure exactly when I could do it. Maybe Wed or Thurs before noon. Or Monday any time.

With one of these:

and these:

and a bit if patience and imagination, you could do a very respectable job that could surpass the BFG mod.
