Hi Folks,
I live in the upstate of SC and I was looking for some Alliant Promo...in the 8 lb jugs...shotgun reloading...maybe even some Red Dot.
I found one place who had it for 107.00 plus NC tax.... that was for Promo...very high...at REX"s In Hendersonville,  they were essentially charging a hazmat fee on each jug, along with taxes and their cut too!...In other words GOUGING! The whole world knows you only pay one hazmat fee on a quantity of items shipped not each individual item.

Do you know of anybody within an afternoon's driving distance who sells Promo powder, who is resonable and wants a loyal customer, not a one time ass-raping affair?

I don't know if the same huy is still at little hardware in charlotte, but he helped me to get some accurate loads in 9mm,using 38 super bullets. They are a little higher than some places, but weren't as bad as some others in the area.If anybody is reloading 9mm and is having a hard time finding componets, the 38 super bullet is .356 instead of .355 and in some pistols is much more accurate. It works great in a ruger convertible revolver.

Have you tried Grady's in Anderson?

I haven't been there in about a year but they used to have a decent selection of reloading supplies.
