I see a Glock in the picture with an aftermarket barrel that obviously had a major malfunction. Was there a suppressor involved since the aftermarket barrel is threaded? I also see several different calibers of cartridge cases around the Glock. What I don't see in the picture is a ammunition box with the manufacturer's name, caliber, lot number, etc...
ETA: Is that a SilencerCo Osprey silencer at the top of the picture? |

Interesting
This is not OP's first thread about Ozark Ordnance. Seems you have a bone to pick with them. Owner's remarks (tdowell) are also in that thread. |

I browse Reddit quite a bit, and I have friends who have had issues with your ammo, so I will post when I see people reporting MAJOR issues with your ammunition. However, it seems like your typical tactic of deflect and discredit are in full effect. So you're denying this was your ammunition that did this? Quoted:

I thought that's just what happened with Glocks?
Seriously though, there are ton's of Glock KB out there, with tons of different ammo. I would think if the previous round were a squib the shooter would have known with a can on. The can makes a glock have a weird recoil and if the gas didn't hit the can, the piston likely wouldn't have cycled which wouldn't have allowed the gun to cycle. Not saying it couldn't be the ammo, but barrels/chambers do occasionally split. I guess S&W has a major problem with their .308 AR barrels splitting... |

| I don't think I would repost shit I see on any page unless I seen it for myself. In fact you really open yourself up for some liability if you do post on a public forum. If the manufacture decided to sur you it would be your responsibility to prove the info was in fact true or your ass is gonna pay up..Think about it |

To be honest I'm no longer a fan of the caliber PERIOD! In a "standard" caliber 9mm does nicely, but I REALLY like the FN FsN 5.7x28 It weighs less loaded with 21 rounds than a Glock 17 does empty. After the Ft. Hood incident it's pretty hard to claim it doesn't do its job. Almost ZERO recoil, and 100 yard reach. |
| as for OZ, I have bought and shot some of their ammo. the 5.56 stuff seemed fine. also got 300 BO from them (both firsts and seconds). the firsts were good and supersonic seconds were good. some of the second subs started to crack (ie they tried to go super) when fired but accuracy, function, etc were fine. never called OZ about because they were seconds and also there was no fuction/safety issue with them. |

Want BAD ammo?
Shoot 5.7x28 FN SS197 or Federal American Eagle. They are both loaded by Fiocchi in Ozark, MO. Jay from Elite Ammunition has posted videos of tearing down the SS197, and the powder charges are all over the place. Bad news on a TINY 50,000 psi cartridge. |

That really sucks, I have about 3000 rounds of the FN. I'll have to tear into it and see what kind of results I get. Haven't shot any of it yet, got the FN57 and it went straight to the safe and I haven't touched it since. |

Trying to sue OP for a negative review would cost more than it would net. But speaking of marketing strategies...When companies or their friends go around threatening lawsuits against people who post negative reviews, it tends to reflect poorly on that company. Generally, more so than the initial negative review itself. |

http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2012/02/27/fn-five-seven-kaboom/ Yeah, there has been a LOT of discussion of FN 5.7's kabooming. The suggestion is always related to the weapon firing before it's fully in battery. A member of the FN Forum PROVED that's total bullshit by taking precise measurements of when the design allows the hammer to strike the firing pin (yes it's a single action hammer design) The conclusion that most come to is either one of the Fiocchi loads or a reload. When you have a case as small as the 5.7X28 round, one tenth of a grain too much = KABOOM! The round operates at 50,000 psi + |

Quoted:
So a 40 s&w at 35,000 psi is to dangerous but a 50,000 psi round where an extra tenth of a grain can supposedly "kaboom" your fancy pistol is the cat's ass?
Was just about to say that... Imagine if FN sold even 1% of the number of .40 caliber Glocks sold. Glock kaboom wouldn't be the meme... Five seven kaboom would.

IF the round is PROPERLY loaded it's safe! Keep,in mind a MUCH smaller case volume vs the .40 S&W, a considerably higher pressure, and the fact that Fiocchi is DAMN SLOPPY on their QA/QC on this round. I'm getting everything I need together to start loading the 5.7X28. It will be on a SINGLE STAGE press and I will weigh every charge. It a great round, just it's not very forgiving on screw ups. There have been NO reports of problems with the round loaded by FN in Belgium! (SS198, SS195, etc) |
