Ok----so i got the phone call today--I'm being transferred to rhode island as of may 21. A few questions: 1) I have got to find a place to live. What are the good ares of providence / out side of providence to move to?? WHere should I avoid. Thinking nice apartment. 2) Also what are the gunlaws as far as transportation and that sort of thing---do i need a special permit to transport firearms. 3) I know that it is next to impossible to get a carry permit, and that my m14s are welcomed with open arms, but what about my handguns??
